GeoPetPro is committed to protecting your personal data in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU 2016/679).

2. Personal Data We Collect

Customer Data: Full Name, Email, Phone Number, Shipping Address, and Tax ID (optional).
Pet Data: Pet Name, Breed, Photo, and Emergency Contact information.
Geolocation Data: When a lost pet tag is scanned, the scanner's GPS position is requested and transmitted exclusively to the pet owner's email upon consent.

3. Purpose of Processing

Data processing is necessary for: fulfilling order purchases, generating laser-engraved tags, sending location alert notifications when tags are scanned, and complying with tax obligations.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your data. We strictly share data with essential infrastructure partners:

Sanity.io: Secure cloud database management.
Stripe & Ifthenpay: Encrypted payment processing.
Resend: Transactional email and GPS alert delivery.
CTT / Couriers: Order physical delivery.

5. User Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, request erasure, or restrict processing of your personal data at any time by emailing support@geopetpro.com.

Editing and QR profile data

The QR shows only published fields, including contacts. Editing requires a six-digit code sent to your order email, valid for 10 minutes and one use, with limited attempts. Once verified, you can manage pets associated with that email for 30 minutes. The session uses an HttpOnly cookie and temporary access data is stored in Upstash Redis. Cloudflare Turnstile protects code requests. Clarity is not loaded in profile management.
